Our Mission
Following is our Mission Statement - direct from our by-laws:
The Mission of The Michael B. Rabinowitz Foundation for Youth Involvement is
to empower children to make active, educated and positive choices in life
and serve as a resource for all who seek to enrich the lives of children and
promote their success.
We pursue this mission by providing programs and services that promote a positive impact on youth.
Through grants and scholarships we will encourage participation in
activities that promote discipline, encourage personal growth and enhance
the chance for the success of each child as a productive member of our
community.
Foundation Programming:
- Self-Esteem Classes for Youth
- Anger Management Classes for Teens
- Instruction in dance, gymnastics and art classes
- Sports Instruction for martial arts and school sports
- Various workshops surrounding youth issues in society
- Liaison for mental health volunteers to provide services
- Resources and workshops for parents regarding youth issues
- Financial Education for Teens (a program of NEFE)
- Purpose Process for Youth (a program of the Life on Purpose Institute)
FFYI hopes that you share in our vision and will decide to join us in our endeavors. If you have expertise, knowledge or experience in any of the above programs, and would like to volunteer your time to help us, please feel free to contact us.
If you would like to make a monetary donation to a specific program, please send us an e-mail indicating which program you would like your donation to go towards and we will gladly apply your generous donation to that particular program.
